When it comes to football, I’m a complete dud.
Please don’t hold it against me. I’m just not much for sports in general (with the exception of baseball or anything involving my own kids). I’d by far rather curl up with a good book and munch on the leftover nachos than actually watch the game.
I’m sure I’m not alone. If we’re honest, how many of us would prefer to wear the cute T-shirt and make the snacks than jump up and down in front of the TV yelling like a maniac? Not that there’s anything wrong with jumping and yelling, in the proper context. But if you’d rather be on my team, here are a few fun things to make your Super Bowl Sunday a little brighter:
First, you’ll want to do some decorating:
- Football Pennant Banner. $4.79
- Football Tablecloth. $5.99
- Super Bowl 50 2016 NFL Football Balloon Decorating Party Pack 32pc Ultimate Kit. $16.25
And of course, you’ve got to eat:
- Foiled Milk Chocolate Footballs 1LB Bag. $11.49
- Football Meat and Cheese Tray. $74.50
- Tailgate and Celebrate Football Pasta 14 oz. $9.99
How about some football-themed crafts to keep your mind off the yelling and the potato chip crumbs being ground into your carpet:
- Football Themed Paper and Stickers Scrapbook Kit. $10.50
- Darice Plastic Football Bead, 60 Pieces. $5.99
- Football Play By Play Fleece Fabric By The Yard Anti-Pill (Green). $9.99 a yard
And finally, if you know in your heart of hearts that you’d rather read a nice romance about football than watch the actual game, here are a few sweet options:
- FAIR CATCH by Cindy Roland Anderson. $3.99 for Kindle
- The Last Play Series (4 Book Series) by by Taylor Hart $0.99 – $2.99 each for Kindle.
- CATCH OF A LIFETIME by Candee Fick. $1.99 for Kindle
- BETWEEN SUNDAYS by Karen Kingsbury. $8.99 for Kindle
Enjoy game day…from wherever you’re sitting!
I’ll be watching the game but likely reading during the commercials. The books look really fun! Thanks for sharing.
